About the Role

Are you an experienced tradesperson ready to step off the tools, an ambitious automotive professional looking to take the next step, or a natural people leader passionate about delivering excellence?


Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, this is a key leadership role responsible for managing the largest team in the business. You will play a pivotal role in driving workshop performance, developing your team, and ensuring customers receive outstanding service every time.

 As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership capability and confidence managing a team

  • Mentor, coach and support employees to help them grow and succeed

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with staff and customers

  • Ensure efficient workshop operations while delivering outstanding customer service

  • Manage costs and performance to maintain a profitable service department

  • Drive service sales and achieve departmental performance targets

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the Mechanical Service Department team to maximise efficiency

  • Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and ensure staff training and manufacturer standards are consistently met
