Treadies Group (Treadies HVAC & R + Air Theory Mechanical) is expanding in Sydney and we’re looking for a skilled HVAC Technician / Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a professional mechanical services company delivering high-end residential and commercial HVAC projects.

The Role

You’ll be working across a range of HVAC and mechanical projects including:

• Commercial HVAC installations
• High-end residential air conditioning systems
• Ventilation and mechanical systems
• Equipment commissioning and system start-ups
• Installation of split, ducted, VRF and ventilation systems
• Working alongside project managers and other technicians
• Supporting apprentices and junior technicians when required

You’ll get exposure to quality projects and modern systems, not just repetitive service work.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a technician who:

• Takes pride in their workmanship
• Has solid experience in HVAC installation or mechanical projects
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Is organised and reliable on site
• Communicates well with clients and other trades
• Is motivated to keep learning and developing in the trade

Experienced installers looking to step up into leadership roles are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Electrical Licence
• White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence
