Lift HQ Sandgate is a fast-growing class-based gym in Sandgate, and we’re looking for an energetic and committed coach to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to coach in an environment with high standards, strong culture, and genuine support. At Lift HQ, we believe great coaching goes beyond running workouts. It’s about creating an experience where members feel supported, challenged, and part of something bigger.

You’ll be joining a supportive coaching team and working closely with a hands-on owner who is passionate about helping coaches grow professionally.

The Role

We’re currently looking for a coach to support our roster across weekly classes, weekend rotations, and additional shifts during team holiday periods.

Typical involvement may include:
• Coaching a weekly morning or afternoon class block
• Participating in a rotating Friday PM / Saturday AM weekend roster (approx. every 4 weeks)
• Providing cover and support during coach leave periods
• Assisting with maintaining the high standard of member experience across the gym

This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to grow within the facility over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality group fitness coaching across our class timetable
• Provide clear demonstrations, corrections and guidance to members
• Help create a welcoming and supportive training environment
• Support daily operations and contribute to a positive gym culture
• Assist members with movement confidence, safety and progression
• Uphold the high coaching standards Lift HQ is known for

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate III in Fitness
First Aid & CPR certification
Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
ABN and own insurance
• Availability for weekly coaching shifts and occasional weekend rotation
