Key responsibilities:

  • Basic Fatigue Management compliance (training will be provided)
  • Ensuring all operational, administration, customer service, relationships are managed in a professional and appropriate manner
  • Maintaining effective, efficient and best practice logistics solutions within the operations (planning, allocating and scheduling work)
  • Answering phone calls
  • Data entry
  • General administrative / operational tasks

Note, that this is a role within a 24/7 work environment and meeting the needs of a blue-chip client. The role reports to the Operations Manager and is based at our Wodonga Head Office.

About You

You are self-motivated, extremely reliable, and work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You don’t necessarily have a background in transport, however you are motivated and have a can-do attitude. You are able to adapt and learn quickly in an environment and team that operates with a sense of urgency.

Your past work skills will involve some experience in either organising, allocating or scheduling.

Your skills and experience for this role need to include:

  • Clear communication skills – both written and oral
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Capable of making decisions quickly
  • Fast and competent computer use, incl Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work alone and in teams when required
  • Multitasking across a variety of work throughout your shift
  • Past night shift experience is preferred.
