About the opportunity

At UDIA Queensland, we’re searching for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our small, high-performing team. You’ll be part of an organisation that represents Queensland’s property development industry, a sector that quite literally shapes the communities we live and work in.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Principal Marketing Advisor, you’ll:

›          Deliver end-to-end event marketing campaigns from concept to execution, across multiple platforms, for flagship events as well as regional events across Queensland

›          Manage website content and social media channels, ensuring our digital presence is engaging, timely, and on-brand

›          Support the delivery of our quarterly magazine establish

›          Support organisation-wide initiatives, including our Made for People campaign, EnviroDevelopment sustainability certification, and The Development Drum podcast

›          Provide design and communication support to departments spanning policy, research, membership, and regional branches

›          Contribute fresh ideas, aim for continuous improvements, and work collaboratively with a tight-knit team.

About you

You’re a communicator at heart, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy switching between creative and practical tasks.

What you’ll bring:

›          Strong writing and storytelling skills, with an eye for visuals and meticulous attention to detail

›          Design experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

›          Proficiency in digital platforms, including email marketing platforms and content management systems

›          Eagerness to build skills in video editing, photography and graphic content creation, with prior experience considered an asset

›          Ability to juggle competing deadlines and deliverables, and have a collaborative mindset

This role is perfect for someone early in their career that is ready to step up and take ownership in a role with variety.

What we offer

›          2 days per year (in addition to annual leave) to attend to life admin

›          Volunteer leave

›          Employee Assistance Program

›          Centrally located office in Brisbane’s CBD
