Position Overview
The Head of Manufacturing is a senior executive responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, and governance of CS Gas's manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Executive General Manager and as part of the Executive Leadership Team, this role ensures Manufacturing operates as a high-performing, scalable, and financially disciplined business unit that drives growth, profitability, and reputation.
The role has full accountability for Fabrication, Welding, Mechanical, Electrical, and Stores functions, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-driven delivery of services. A key focus is unifying and integrating all functions, ensuring teams collaborate effectively to meet operational goals, optimise resources, and deliver strategic objectives.
Balancing strategic oversight with operational leadership, the Head of Manufacturing drives productivity, margin improvement, and cost control while maintaining uncompromising standards in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental performance. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification, while providing commercial insight into capacity planning, capital investment, contract performance, and operational risk.
