About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Legal Administration Assistant to support our Principal, Litigation Practice Group Leader in Melbourne. This position plays a vital role in assisting our clients and legal professionals with timely and accurate service delivery. The role also offers potential for progression into a paralegal position.

File management: opening, drafting, editing, collating, filing, and archiving
Supporting legal teams
Managing diaries and schedules
Liaising with clients and third parties (e.g. solicitors, banks, agents, courts)
Billing preparation, edits, and final invoice production
Organising documents for court filing
Preparing briefs, court books, Affidavits
General administration duties (e.g. relief reception)
Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of 2-3 years’ prior experience working in a law firm environment, specifically within litigation or insurance
Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with legal document management systems (e.g. iManage)
Familiarity with the use of precedent template documents
Experience using billing and time recording systems (e.g. Aderant)
