Practice Nurse

Position Description

To ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the practice and provide an exceptional standard of care to our patients.

The position available is for casual employment offering regular shifts. Our opening hours are 7am-7pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8am-12pm.

Preferably seeking someone to work a ~10 hour week with flexibility to cover sick and annual leave. We are open to more hours for the right candidate. 

What we are looking for applicants that:

• Possess knowledge of current immunisation schedules, Diabetes management, asthma management, enhanced primary care items, infection control, CPR and emergency resuscitation techniques, equipment & drugs.

• Possess excellent communication skills

• Work well as part of a team

• Display genuine empathy and interest in patient needs

Essential:

• Appropriate tertiary qualification & registration certificate

• Experience in General Practice Nursing

Favoured skills:

• Advanced computer skills

• Experience with Best Practice
