The role & team Our Property Team plays an important role in the growth of Specsavers across Australia and New Zealand. We are now looking for a Leasing Executive/ Property Manager to join our exciting and fast paced Business Development team. The Property Manager is responsible for negotiating lease renewals, exercising lease options and sourcing new properties throughout Australia and New Zealand. This role also requires an active involvement in store relocations and expansions which is an increasing necessity. All negotiations are to be favourable to Specsavers, and any potential risks are to be identified and reported to the business. The Skills We Are Looking For At least 5 years’ experience as a Property Manager with demonstrated experience negotiating retail leases within shopping centres (essential)Strong understanding of the Retail Leases Act with proven experience in managing both tenant and landlord relationships (essential)Recent experience collaborating with major shopping centre landlords, with insight into their operational models, strategies and decision‑making frameworksPrevious retail leasing and franchising experience is desirable.Demonstrated capacity to determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and the ability to work under pressureExcellent written, verbal communication skills with the ability build strong relationships and deal with a diverse range of stakeholdersStrong influencing and negotiating skills About Us At Specsavers we believe a diverse, inclusive and flexible culture enables our people to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
