The Role

We have a permanent opportunity available for a Claims Officer Catastrophic Claims in our Motor Injury Insurance Division.

In this position you will determine crash eligibility and Fund allocation and manage a portfolio of catastrophic motor vehicle injury claims. You will also work closely with the Care Service Coordinators and clients.

The Person

You will align with our values and have the capability to:

• Manage complex high value common law personal injury claims;
• Work with the internal Care Services team to deliver claims management support for clients catastrophically injured in motor vehicle accidents;
• Communicate in an empathetic manner to people who have suffered catastrophic injury and their families;
• Apply effective strategies in the management of complex high value personal injury claims to achieve positive outcomes; and
• Think flexibly with a desire for service delivery innovation.

You will receive ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance your skills.

Appointment Information

Suitable applicants will be placed in an appointment pool for up to twelve months. Selection to the pool does not guarantee appointment.
