Role DescriptionA Product Owner is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog to ensure that development teams deliver value to the business and end-users. This role acts as the liaison between stakeholders and the development team, translating business needs into actionable product features.Key responsibilities include:Defining the product vision and strategy in collaboration with stakeholdersCreating, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlogTranslating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteriaCollaborating with development teams to ensure features are built according to specificationsMaking decisions on feature trade-offs, scope, and prioritiesGathering feedback from users, stakeholders, and analytics to guide product improvementsParticipating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesMonitoring product performance and reporting progress to stakeholdersEnsuring the product meets customer needs, quality standards, and business objectivesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience in product management, business analysis, or agile development environmentsStrong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycleExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skillsAbility to translate complex business requirements into clear user storiesAnalytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisionsExperience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Aha!Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing
