Job Title: Senior Front End Developer
Location: Sydney, Australia (2 days in office)

Role Overview:

As a Senior Front End Developer you will be responsible for developing a new Digital Tool. Your focus will be on developing modern, scalable user interfaces using Next.js and Chakra UI, working closely with designers, product managers, business analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Expertise in developing responsive web applications using Next.js and React

• Previous expereince in implementing UI components using Chakra UI while ensuring consistency with design systems

• Ability to translate design prototypes and product requirements into clean, maintainable front-end code

• Participate in technical design discussions and architecture decisions for a new platform

• Assist with code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

• Support iterative development in a fast-moving greenfield environment

Requirements:

• Strong experience building web applications using React and Next.js

• Experience developing UI using Chakra UI or similar component libraries

• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

• Experience working in cross-functional product teams alongside designers, product managers, and engineers

• Ability to translate designs and product requirements into high-quality frontend implementations

• Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to team dynamics.

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
