Are you passionate about player development, coaching education, and building a strong football identity across a club?

Caboolture Sports Football Club is one of Queensland’s most inclusive and dynamic clubs, delivering football programs from MiniRoos through to Community Juniors, Seniors, and Masters.

As Technical Director – Casual, you’ll help shape the technical direction of the club while supporting coaches and players to develop within a clear and consistent football framework. This role is ideal for an experienced coach or technical leader who is passionate about developing people and building sustainable football programs within a community club environment. This is a casual role, and will need flexibility to work evenings and weekends, to align with football season.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and maintain the club’s SAP and player development curriculum aligned with the Football Australia National Curriculum.

  • Oversee the planning and delivery of training sessions across Football Australia and Football Queensland programs.

  • Provide in-field mentoring and support to coaches, particularly within MiniRoos and SAP programs.

  • Assist with the appointment and development of coaches and team staff across academy and community teams.

  • Contribute to player development pathways, training cycles, and talent identification processes.

  • Assist with club planning and reporting, including key development metrics such as player progression and retention.

About You

You’re an experienced football coach or technical leader who enjoys helping coaches and players improve through structured learning environments.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience designing or delivering player development programs aligned with national frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge of coach development and mentoring principles.

  • Experience working within junior and youth football environments.

  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, players, schools, and governing bodies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • AFC B Licence (or currently undertaking the qualification).

  • Demonstrated experience working within a football club technical program.

  • Valid QLD Working With Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one.

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.

  • Police Check.
