Senior Distribution Assistant

ProStar Management provides services to our Protector Aluminium and Glass, and ProStar Joinery businesses, established over 25 years. We manufacture and import a wide range of quality products including aluminium and glass fencing, balustrade products, barrier and security doors, decorative screening and timber joinery supplying Bunnings Stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking a reliable and efficient full-time (1:54pm - 10:00pm) Senior Distribution Assistant to join our growing team. 

We believe that our success is attributed to our staff and the quality work they perform on duty. You'll be working closely with other Distribution Assistants at our Brendale site and reporting directly to the Distribution Supervisor. 

You will be responsible for:

• Providing senior level support to warehouse functions

• Forklift operation - loading and unloading trucks

• The movement of stock within the warehouse 

• Accurate and timely receiving, dispatching and locating of stock

• Ensuring maximum utilisation of space

• Carrying out storage and stock control procedures

• Providing team support to other team members 

• General storeroom housekeeping and following WHS policies and regulations

We want to hear from you if you:

• Have previous experience in a senior level support role

• Have a current forklift licence - counterbalance experience

• Possess existing knowledge of warehousing and distribution 

• Have well developed communication and interpersonal skills

• Have a strong attention to detail and can work within deadlines

• Are computer literate

• Have a current Queensland Drivers Licence 

• Have excellent organisational and time management skills

• Are a team player

• Are first aid and fire warden certificated (desired but not essential)
