Data Quality Officer

Data Quality Officer Contract: 12 months + potential extensions Start: ASAP Location: Canberra‑based A leading essential services organisation is seeking a Data Quality Officer to improve the accuracy and integrity of operational and asset data across core enterprise systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving data issues, improving processes, and working closely with operational, ICT and field teams. Key Responsibilities Cleanse and validate operational, asset and field service dataIdentify data issues and perform root‑cause analysisSupport data alignment across WAM/EAM, Mobile Workforce, and GIS (ArcGIS) systemsImplement data quality controls and contribute to continuous improvementAssist in developing reliable dashboards and reports (Power BI)About You Strong experience in data cleansing, data quality and data governanceHands‑on with ETL tools (FME highly desirable) and SQLExperience with ArcGIS/GIS datasetsExposure to asset management or utilities environments (desirable)Strong stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skillsEligibility Applicants must be Australian CitizensHow to Apply If you’re passionate about improving operational data accuracy, strengthening data governance, and supporting evidence‑based decision‑making, we encourage you to apply.
