A growing real estate private credit fund is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead origination across investment and development finance transactions in Sydney. The fund provides facilities of up to $50m across commercial, residential and mixed-use assets. With committed capital the business is looking to appoint a BDM who can originate, structure and execute transactions. Key Responsibilities: Origination & Business DevelopmentGenerate high quality deal flow across investment and development finance.Maintain and grow strong relationships with brokers and developersBuild a repeat borrower pipeline and long-term sponsor relationships.Represent the fund in market-facing situations. Structuring & ExecutionStructure senior, mezzanine and whole-loan facilities up to $50m.Lead commercial negotiations with borrowers and advisors.Prepare and present credit papers to Investment Committee.Work closely with credit, legal and portfolio teams through to settlement.Ensure transactions align with risk appetite and return hurdles. Leadership & Strategy Act as a senior leader within the business.Contribute to credit policy and product development.Help shape pricing strategy and capital deployment.Mentor junior team members as the platform scales. Ideal Candidate Profile10 - 15 + years’ experience in real estate lendingProven track record originating and closing real estate debt transactions.Strong broker and developer network in NSW.Construction/development and investment finance experience A competitive salary package and bonus structure will be negotiated for the successful candidate.
