WHAT’S ON OFFER:
What is on offer is the opportunity to work with a 3PL business, that has excellent long-term networks and relationships, with the huge potential to build further on a successful business. Here is a summary of what to expect:
  • Great base salary package between $100,000 – $120,000 + Super + Car + ToT (based on experience)
  • Rewarding commission structure based on a percentage of all sales made
  • Company perks including company car or car allowance, work phone and laptop
  • Access to established operational support across a reputable on road general and heavy haulage service. 
  
ROLE EXPECTATIONS:
This role is a vital part of the growth and future of the business. Here is what you can expect from this role:
  • Drive new business acquisition across national freight services (General, Heavy Haulage, and Overnight/Express Service)
  • Identify, target and secure new clients across logistic and supply chain industries
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand current sales portfolio
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding and account growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with medium to large customers
  • Leverage your existing network and portfolio to generate immediate revenue opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure seamless freight movement and service delivery
  • Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline management within the CRM system
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and GP targets
  
CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS:
The successful candidate will be results-driven, commercially minded and confident in securing new business. You will align with most of the following requirements:
  • Proven sales or industry experience in logistics and supply chain industry
  • Strong understanding of domestic logistics, freight forwarding and supply chain solutions
  • History of managing a portfolio of active customers
  • Experience managing medium to large customers with significant freight spend
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable sales results
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of freight margins and pricing structures
  • Excellent relationship-building, networking and presentation skills
  • Ability to identify new market opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships
