About the company:
Our client is a respected Australian scientific company innovating across multiple cutting-edge sectors, including Life Sciences and Advanced Battery Technologies. With their head office located less than 20 km from Brisbane’s CBD, they are expanding their commercial team and are seeking a Business Development/Key Account Manager to join them in a newly created, high-impact position.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at their Brisbane headquarters. You will report directly to the Managing Director/CEO and collaborate closely with technical, product, and commercial teams to drive product visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Duties:
 

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales targets across global B2B markets
  • Build and manage strong client relationships, delivering tailored product value propositions
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social, and event-based strategies
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales and marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and presentations
Skills/experience:
 
  • Bachelor degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Science degree would be highly regarded
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, ideally within a product-based or industrial company
  • Proven success in B2B sales with exposure to international markets (e.g. India, South Korea, Europe, USA)
  • Strong ability in lead generation, client conversion, and achieving revenue targets
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Monday.com) and digital marketing tools
