  • Oversee compliance activities within the Planning Directorate for the betterment of our beautiful Hilltops community.
  • Competitive salary circa $110k - $123k + Superannuation, with other benefits conferred under the Local Government State Award.

Working under leadership who have a clear vision of the way forward, our Team Leader Compliance will provide high-level advice, guidance, and support to the Compliance team and others in Council, in the administration of applicable Acts, regulations, and relevant statutes. 

This role is well-suited for a knowledgeable, approachable, and collaborative leader backed by university qualifications in Environmental Science or a similar field. You will be well-experienced in compliance activities within the context of NSW Local Government and show that you can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, providing consistent, easy-to-understand, and clear instructions.

Our ideal candidate will be able to readily demonstrate their knowledge and experience in the field of compliance and/or enforcement, and be willing to coach, guide, and mentor an established team of professional staff.
