Product Owner

Seeking an experienced Product Owner to be a part of the account-to-account payments product team, within NAB’s Enterprise Payments area. In this new role you will represent the business and drive customer outcomes.

As Product Owner, you will be joining the Enterprise Payments Team to drive excellence in NAB’s domestic account-to-account payment capability across the business.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Understand the needs of our customers and define roadmaps aligned to customer and business objectives
• Drive delivery of roadmaps and uplift to our payment capabilities that achieve customer and commercial outcomes.
• Take accountability and support teams implementing change,
• Communicate priorities and work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholders
• Engage with and contribute to payments industry objectives and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with NAB’s risk management appetite and frameworks.

What you will bring:

• An in-depth understanding of Account-to-Account payments and associated fields (operations, processes, end users, customers, regulations, schemes).
• Extensive experience in product management and delivery.
• Creativity and the ability to simplify complex processes and issues.
• A customer and solutions focused mindset.
• Ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams.
• Comfortable playing a leadership role, including leading workshops, in a multi-located cross functional business and supporting teams through discovery, development and operational stages of product development
• Ability to work closely with key stakeholders, industry bodies and build collaborative partnerships
