Redpath Partners are partnering with a highly respected and recognised property group to appoint a Senior Development Manager or Project Director on a 12‑month contract. This role requires a seasoned development professional capable of leading large‑scale, complex industrial projects with confidence, rigour and sound commercial judgement.
You will take a senior leadership position across two key industrial assets, including a significant, technically challenging site. This role requires someone who has previously navigated large, intricate projects with multiple technical, environmental and stakeholder variables.You will also oversee and mentor a Development Manager, guiding delivery standards, decision‑making and project direction.

The Role
You will lead two industrial projects, ensuring development pathways are clearly defined, risks are understood and mitigated, and delivery is aligned with commercial outcomes. Working closely with senior leadership, you will shape the direction of each project, manage consultants, drive approvals, and provide oversight across planning, design, technical resolution and early works.

You are a senior development professional with deep experience delivering large, complex industrial projects. You bring strong capability across planning, technical resolution, consultant leadership and commercial strategy. You thrive in challenging environments, can quickly diagnose risk and opportunity, and operate with confidence at senior level.
You will bring:SDM/Project Director–level experience across major, complex development projectsStrong industrial experience (or large‑scale infrastructure/complex built‑form)Demonstrated capability in remediation, demolition, or technically challenging sitesStrong planning, design management and delivery experienceThe ability to mentor, guide and uplift team membersExcellent communication, stakeholder leadership and judgementTertiary qualifications in Property, Engineering, Construction or a related field
