Your role in our Mission We are looking for a strategic and proactive HR Business Partner to join our global People team and support our Australia business.
With over 70 employees across Sydney and Melbourne, this role partners closely with our APAC Managing Director, the Australian leadership team and our people managers to shape and deliver people plans that genuinely support the business and our people. You will balance strategic thinking with practical delivery, using insight and data where it adds value, and good judgement where it matters most. In a small, but high performing region, our Australian People team operates with high visibility and agility. This role requires strong judgement and the ability to balance governance with pace, ensuring that commercial growth is always enabled.
Just as importantly, this is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the business. You will be visible, approachable and hands on, happy to roll up your sleeves and work collaboratively with our Head of Project Management on operational and office related matters, and with our Culture Club on social, cultural, CSR and DEI initiatives. You will help create a workplace that feels welcoming, well run, and inclusive.
Flexible, Hybrid Working Our office is for you to use as much as you like; as a minimum our teams work from our Sydney office at least twice a week.
Some of Your Responsibilities & Core Duties will be:
Business partnering and people strategyPartner with senior leaders and managers to deliver people plans aligned to business prioritiesProvide thoughtful, pragmatic advice on organisational design, change, performance and engagementUse people data and insights to identify root causes, inform decisions and prioritise effectivelyAct as a trusted HR sounding board for leaders, supporting better decision making
Core HR delivery and employee lifecycleImplement HR policies and processes that are compliant, practical and aligned to our valuesSupport annual pay review, benefits, performance management, talent review, engagement surveys and action planningProvide end to end HR support from hire through to exit, including employee relations mattersPartner with payroll and external providers to ensure accurate, compliant and people centered outcomes
Reward, job architecture and benefitsPartner with Talent Acquisition and senior leaders on job architecture, role design and job mapping to ensure consistency, clarity and market alignmentConduct salary benchmarking and remuneration analysis to support hiring, pay review and progression decisions, using external market data and internal frameworksContribute to external remuneration surveys, including submitting regional data to providers such as Mercer, and supporting interpretation of resultsSupport the annual pay review process by providing analysis, recommendations and insight aligned to market data, internal equity and business prioritiesReview and provide input into regional benefits offerings, ensuring they remain competitive, relevant and aligned to employee needs and local market practice

The Experience and Key Skills you will have: Solid experience as a HR Business Partner or in a senior HR role within a fast-paced, scaling environment, ideally within a technology, SaaS or professional services organisation, demonstrating sustained impact and ownership across multiple business cycles, supporting a growing workforceExperience partnering with senior leaders and influencing with credibility, care and sound judgement, including direct partnership with C-suite or MD level stakeholders on people strategy (creation and delivery), L&D, employee engagement, organisational change and riskStrong generalist HR experience including complex ER matters, performance management, annual pay reviews, organisational development, workforce planning for business growth, and annual performance and talent cyclesComfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands on delivery, from people planning to day-to-day support. Able to move comfortably between long-term planning and immediate operational support.Emotionally intelligent, empathetic and calm, able to navigate complex and sensitive situations with confidence and discretion, underpinned by proven experience handling confidential matters and advising leaders through sensitive people situationsCommercially aware, confident using data and insight to connect people decisions to business outcomes without losing the human contextAdaptable and relationship led, willing to get involved in the practical aspects of office life and culture building, creating experiences that delight employeesDegree in HR, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with strong knowledge of Australian employment law.
