MAYDAY Recruitment is currently looking for a self-driven and competent Recruitment Consultant to kickstart their career and  join one of Australia’s fastest growing Legal Recruitment Agencies.

Main responsibilities include:
  • Find and build long-lasting professional relationships with legal professionals
  • Source, screen, and assess potential candidates
  • Managing interviews and presenting suitable candidates
  • Writing job ads to be posted on social media and other sourcing platforms
  • Collaborating with the compliance team for reference checking and document gathering
  • Negotiating and finalising contracts between client and candidate
  • Managing applicant tracking systems
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and provide advice
Training:

What we're looking for:
  • Min 2 years’ recruitment experience, or are coming to legal recruitment as part of a second career from law or other related industry field
  • Proven ability to meet financial targets for at least 2 consecutive quarters out of a 12 month period
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain client/supplier relationships
  • Exemplary motivation, purpose and commitment
  • Resilience and emotional intelligence
  • High attention to detail
  • A willingness to continue to learn and grow
  • Commercially minded/critical thinker
  • Technically savvy & understands the importance of tracking work on JobAdder
