ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is seeking a Recruitment Resourcer to join our fast‑growing, people‑first team. This full‑time role is pivotal to our continued success and growth.

You will play a key role in sourcing quality blue‑collar talent, supporting onboarding processes, and ensuring seamless internal compliance and resourcing operations.

Your day-to-day will involve:

Actively searching, screening, and shortlisting candidates
Conducting phone screens, interviews, and reference checks
Assisting candidates through onboarding requirements
Ensuring system compliance and accurate record keeping
Supporting roster management and weekly payroll processes
Working collaboratively with the recruitment and delivery teams
Creating, formatting and posting job advertisements on various platforms

ABOUT YOU

You are proactive, organised, and people-focused — someone who enjoys creating positive candidate experiences and supporting a busy recruitment team.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Strong administration experience
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
A passion for service excellence and career development
A professional, empathetic, team‑oriented approach

Desirable (but not essential):

Knowledge of the construction industry
Experience with recruitment systems such as FastTrack360
Recruitment Experience
