We’re on the hunt for enthusiastic Team Member Barista to join our crew at Tea Republic Eastwood. More than just a staff member - You’ll be the face of our brand, an ambassador – Crafting fresh tea, creating feel-good vibes and helping us build a loyal tea-loving community. Delivering exceptional customer service, and helping create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll be responsible for preparing beverages to our quality standard, maintaining a clean workspace and supporting your team to ensure smooth daily operations

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with a friendly warm positive attitude
Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately
Preparing toppings and using brewing machine to prepare tea base
Shaking beverages to recipe standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
Assist with stock replenishment, inventory control, and back-of-house duties
Uphold hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Support the team in ensuring smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking for

Friendly and outgoing personality
Demonstrate clear communication skills and a love for customer interaction
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
A proactive and reliable team player
Maintain a clean, professional appearance suitable for a customer-facing role
Demonstrate a proactive, can do attitude taking initiative to improve customer experience and team performance

Be available to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Barista or hospitality experience is a bonus but not essential
Basic food handling knowledge or certification (preferred)
Speaking fluent in a second language is a plus
