Mobile Dental Services operate state of the art mobile clinics equipped with all that modern dentistry has to offer. We are well established and very well regarded for our commitment to quality dental treatment for the elderly. We are looking to fill a role in our team for a Casual Dental Assistant:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Applicants who are efficient: can listen, respond and compete tasks with responsibility, ownership and the utmost care for their patients.
 

The role will require you to be:

- dentally trained, with an understanding of dental terminology and ability to chart and understand dentist's chairside notes. in particular with excellent communication skills;
- technically competent including: Clinical assisting, prepare Treatment Room and materials, cleaning Treatment Room and Instruments, maintain Treatment Room stock levels, perform scheduled cleaning, implement Infection Control and Instrument Sterilization as per ADA Guidelines.
 

General skills that are essential for all applicants:

- fluent in english
- basic computer skills ;
- able to work within established internal and external procedures and systems
- able to show a genuine care for patient welfare (in particular the elderly);
- able to interact with the dental team on a professional level.
 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

The position available is part time - must be available on Wednesday and Thursday, flexibility with other days. Being a mobile service this role requires travel - mainly around the Sydney region but on occasion to Wollongong/Illawarra. This is a really rewarding role and offers very different competencies to a regular DA position.
