About the role

A fantastic opportunity is available for a casual Chiropractor Assistant to join our family owned clinic in Burpengary. We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive person to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail and brings a vibrant, positive personality to the workplace. You will be supporting our chiropractors with front desk duties, patient coordination, and general practice administration to ensure the smooth day to day running of the clinic.

This casual position (10-20 hours per week), requires availability for weekdays plus rotating Saturday morning shifts, with working hours split between morning shifts (7.30am - 12.30pm) and afternoon shifts (1.30pm - 7.00pm).

Please note: Shifts will range from 3 to 5 hours in duration depending on patient bookings on any given day.

** Flexibility is essential to cover additional shifts when required due to staff sickness or holidays

Your responsibilities will include:

* Welcoming and greeting patients with a friendly and professional manner

* Answering and making calls

* Scheduling and rescheduling appointments

* Processing payments via HICAPS, EFTPOS and cash

* Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality

* Managing patient flow into treatment rooms

* Maintaining a clean, organised reception and clinic area

* Balancing end of shift figures

* Other general administrative and office duties

About you

* Previous Allied Health or medical reception experience preferred. Chiropractic experience highly regarded

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Confident using practice management software (we use Cliniko) and Microsoft Office Suite

* Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

* Work well independently as well as in a team

* Flexible availability to assist in covering shifts occasionally due to sick/holiday cover
