Turn Leadership into Impact - Build High-Performing Clubs and Inspire a Region to Thrive

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Regional Manager to lead the Central Sydney Fitness First portfolio (NSW City); A group of iconic clubs in one of the most dynamic fitness markets in the country.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with Fitness & Lifestyle Group, where you’ll shape the performance, culture and growth of multiple clubs while developing the next generation of club leaders.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Performance, the Regional Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of the region. You’ll partner closely with Club Managers to build strong, commercially successful businesses while creating clubs that deliver exceptional experiences for members and teams alike.

You’ll lead performance across the key drivers that power our clubs — EBITDA, membership growth, personal training performance, team engagement, group fitness performance and member satisfaction. More importantly, you’ll bring these metrics to life through strong leadership, coaching and accountability, helping your leaders grow their people, strengthen their clubs and unlock new opportunities for success.

This is a role for a confident and inspiring leader who can balance commercial thinking with genuine people leadership — someone who knows how to build momentum, develop talent and create clubs where teams perform at their best and members feel they belong.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and support Club Managers to build high-performing teams

  • Drive succession planning, talent development, and career pathways across clubs

  • Oversee Group Fitness and Personal Training through Club Managers to ensure quality, compliance, and performance

  • Achieve financial results by driving revenue growth, managing costs, and improving operational efficiencies

  • Ensure clubs meet Brand Standards and deliver exceptional member experiences (NPS/CSAT/Google Reviews)

  • Partner with Club Managers on P&L performance, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs

  • Drive accountability for membership sales, PT revenue, and class engagement through coaching and performance management

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and retention teams to deliver initiatives that enhance member acquisition and retention

  • Support compliance with policies, WH&S standards, and trainer qualifications/licensing

  • Identify local marketing and community engagement opportunities to boost brand presence

  • Contribute to business-wide initiatives and continuous improvement projects

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in operations management leading medium-to-large teams

  • Proven track record of achieving financial and operational KPIs in a customer-focused, multi-site business

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop talent

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across all business levels

  • Experience in the health and fitness industry (highly regarded)

  • Confident presenter with the ability to engage and influence large groups

  • Bachelor of Business or related degree (preferred, not essential)

  • A current paid Working With Children Check may be required depending on state jurisdiction

This role will close on March 29th, 2026.
