Join us and be a part of our mission to drive sustainability through technology and talent at Tata Consultancy Services, APAC today Job Description: Role : Materials Planner Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency): Roles and Responsibilities:Update BOM changes for Run out of materials & changeover phase in and phase out managementCheck and confirm all open purchase orders for the following day for all raw materialsValidate bulk purchase order against requirement by considering production plan, on hand inventorySend out monthly forecast report to suppliersRelease PO's from PPS170 and manual POs for both QLD and WA Must have skills :Support Material Planning related tasks aligned with production plans, schedule and demand forecastsMonitor and Report inventory levels, lead times and safety stock to prevent stockouts or overstockingManage purchase requisitions, purchase orders and material follow-ups in ERP systemsAgeing stock review for packaging materialUpdating demand changes in Infor-M3 ERP Good to have:Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred5+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related positionStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.Overall responsibility and accountability for the Materials Planning and Logistics area determining how much and what type of materials and products to hold where in the supply chain which includes: managing inventory control, warehouse, distribution and replenishment plans Top Reasons to Join Our Team at TCS AustraliaAttractive compensation & rewardsWe offer a highly competitive salary package aligned with the Australian market, complemented by performance-based incentives, recognition programs, and comprehensive employee benefits.
