Position: Building Associate – Full-Time (38 hours per week)
Location: South Yarra / Prahran – Melbourne
Salary: $77,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation
ARC Property Services Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable Building Associate to support the operational management of residential and commercial properties located in Melbourne’s inner south.
This role requires a hands-on professional with strong organisational and communication skills who can support the day-to-day building operations and coordinate maintenance and contractor activities.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Coordinating day-to-day building operations and maintenance activities
• Liaising with contractors including electricians, plumbers, lift technicians and essential services providers
• Monitoring preventative maintenance programs and compliance requirements
• Assisting with contractor quotations and scope reviews
• Supporting operational reporting and attending Owners Corporation meetings when required
• Coordinating reactive maintenance and responding to urgent incidents such as water leaks, alarms or building faults
• Supporting the Managing Director in ensuring smooth building operations
Requirements
To be considered for this role candidates should demonstrate:
• Experience in property management, facilities coordination or building operations
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to coordinate contractors and manage operational priorities
• Ability to respond to urgent building issues when required
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Due to the operational nature of this role, the successful candidate must be available to respond to building emergencies outside standard business hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
