We are partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturing business seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled trades team within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving reliability, safety and operational performance across a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

The Role:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, responsibilities include:
• Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of Mechanical Fitters and Electricians
• Driving preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to improve asset reliability
• Coordinating breakdown response to minimise downtime and production impact
• Identifying and delivering reliability improvements across plant and equipment
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and structured root cause analysis
• Managing contractors and ensuring site compliance with safety and food standards
• Contributing to capital projects, installations and plant upgrades
• Ensuring maintenance activities are executed in line with engineering, safety and quality requirements

About You:
• Trade qualified in Mechanical (Fitter / Millwright) OR Electrical (with relevant licence where required)
• Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance trades within a manufacturing environment
• Strong fault-finding capability across automated / PLC-controlled production equipment
• Experience within food, beverage, FMCG or high-speed manufacturing highly regarded
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes
• Proven ability to lead teams within a 24/7 operational environment
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
