Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Part 66 B1) – Full Time (AMEs may also apply)

Location: Tyabb Airfield, Mornington Peninsula

The Aviation Centre is based at Tyabb Airfield and maintains a diverse fleet of General Aviation aircraft across our two bases. We are a small, supportive team offering exposure to a wide variety of aircraft and systems. Our Tyabb facility also houses our Piston Engine Overhaul Shop and Fuel System Overhaul Shop, giving our engineers unique in‑house resources and development opportunities.

Tyabb offers the best of both worlds — an easy commute from the Mornington Peninsula or south‑east suburbs, with a relaxed semi‑rural lifestyle, affordable living, and a strong local community.

We offer a Monday–Friday roster plus eight single‑day RDOs per year, supporting genuine work–life balance.

Essential Criteria

• Hold a CASA B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (AMEs may also apply)

• General aviation maintenance experience

• Experience with single and multi‑engine piston aircraft

• Demonstrated initiative and problem‑solving ability

• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Australian citizen or permanent resident

• Current driver’s licence

What We Offer

• Competitive salary (final rate negotiable based on qualifications, skills and experience)

• Opportunities for additional training and upskilling

• Supportive team environment

• Stable, long‑term employment

Training Pathway (Optional)

For strong candidates who may not yet meet all licence or type‑specific requirements, we can provide additional training. A two‑year employment commitment may apply to company‑funded training.
