What you’ll do:
Joining an established Mining team, you'll be supporting a diverse range of brownfield and sustaining capital projects across Australia. You’ll play a key role in delivering engineering solutions for our mining clients across multiple commodities, working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment. This is a design-focused position, ideal for an engineer who thrives in developing engineering solutions from concept through detailed design.
Lead and produce electrical engineering designs, calculations, and documentation for mining and heavy industrial projectsDevelop single line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, protection schemes, and electrical modellingProvide technical input across feasibility, concept, and detailed design phasesOversee and review work by junior and intermediate engineersCoordinate with mechanical, civil, and process engineering teamsEnsure designs meet relevant Australian Standards, safety requirements, and client specificationsSupport project delivery including design reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Minimum 5+ years’ experience, ideally within mining, resources, or heavy industrial sectorsStrong background in electrical design for processing plants, materials handling, or mining infrastructureSolid understanding of Australian Standards, particularly AS/NZS 3000 and mining electrical requirementsExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skillsCPEng or working toward chartership is highly regarded
