What you’ll do: WSP’s Mining team in Adelaide is growing, and we’re looking for a Civil Engineer with 2+ years’ experience who is keen to build strong technical capability through hands‑on design engineering work on mining and related infrastructure projects. This role is well suited to an engineer who has moved beyond purely project coordination and wants to continue developing as a practical, technically grounded civil design engineer within a leading consultancy environment. Civil engineering input for mining and associated infrastructure projectsPreparation of engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentationSupporting site development works such as earthworks, drainage, roads, and civil infrastructureWorking closely with senior engineers to deliver technically sound, constructible solutionsCoordinating with other disciplines and supporting project delivery outcomesExposure to feasibility studies, detailed engineering, and execution‑phase support About you: 2+ years’ experience as a Civil Engineer within consulting or project environmentsDemonstrated exposure to practical civil engineering work (not solely project engineering)Experience on mining projects and/or heavy infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with Australian standards and engineering practicesStrong written and verbal communication skillsA genuine interest in developing your technical capability within mining Why WSP?
