Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Coordinator to join an Operations team.

About the role:

• Ensure daily factory operations run smoothly through efficient machine servicing and repairs.
• Support optimum production capacity and productivity while maintaining safety and efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Planning:
   • Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
   • Prioritise and track tasks, ensuring on-time completion
   • Supervise contractors to ensure alignment with schedules and quality standards.
2. Safety & Quality:
   • Promote safety consciousness and maintain a healthy working environment.
   • Adhere to occupational health and safety policies to maintain zero tolerance of harm
3. Operational Support:
   • Provide technical and service assistance to the team.
   • Ensure effective communication with management on maintenance status and schedules.
   • Oversee training for maintenance fitters and apprentices.
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify and implement improvements to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Relevant Australian Trade Qualifications or degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong communication, coordination, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in maintenance, safety standards, and production systems.
• Ability to plan ahead with a focus on preventative maintenance.
