Maintenance Plumber

This is a supported role for qualified technicians who care about doing great work and improving their skills.

Drain Defenders is a rapidly growing residential maintenance business servicing Logan, South Brisbane and Northern Gold Coast. We run a steady-paced, organised operation. We don’t send you racing all over Logan or stacking jobs back-to-back. You work one job at a time, with the space and expectation to do it properly and provide real value to each customer.

How This Role Works
You’ll be part of a small residential team working directly with homeowners across Logan, South Brisbane and Northern Gold Coast

We don’t do work for builders or strata. Our jobs are scheduled realistically so you can focus on the task in front of you, not the next five waiting.

You’ll start with maintenance and installation work, then progressively be trained in quoting, pricing and communication as you grow. Progression is structured, supported and never rushed.

What Your Days Actually Look Like

·        Residential maintenance and installation work

·        One job at a time — no bouncing between sites

·        Maximum of 3–4 jobs per day

·        Time to diagnose issues properly and do clean work

·        Direct communication with homeowners

·        Jobs that often grow into larger projects

·        Learning how pricing and quoting works

·        Presenting options that genuinely benefit the customer

·        No requirement for after hours, on-call or weekends

·        Weekly training and skill development

Training, Coaching & Support

You’ll have clear goals and targets aligned with what you want to achieve. We run weekly coaching and check-ins to support your development, skills and progression.

You’ll also have access to live dashboards that track your performance daily, weekly and monthly, so you always know where you stand.

Pay, Tools & Lifestyle
• $50–$65 per hour + super base rate for the right technician
• Commission and performance-based incentives and bonuses
