Senior Mechanical Designer - Materials Handling

• Location: Brisbane, QLD
• Roster (if applicable): Monday - Friday office based
• Key Benefit: $85 - $105 per hour
• Key Essential Qualification: Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma

Role Opportunity
Lead mechanical design activities for mining and materials handling projects. Develop detailed 3D equipment models and construction drawings while guiding designers and ensuring design compliance.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma
• Strong Autodesk Inventor 3D modelling experience
• MicroStation drafting and drawing production
• Mining materials handling equipment design
• Proven mechanical design experience

Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop complex mechanical 3D design models
• Produce equipment layouts and construction drawings
• Review mechanical designs for compliance standards
• Support constructability reviews and site coordination
• Assist with material requisitions and evaluations
