About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating general repairs and minor works through to preventative maintenance and site inspections across commercial buildings and facilities. You will manage trades and handymen, coordinate with subcontractors when needed, and take pride in delivering quality, safe outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong trades or handyman background who enjoys solving problems, managing teams, maintaining high standards and delivering quality maintenance services across a range of sites.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing general building maintenance, repairs and minor works across commercial properties
Diagnosing and resolving issues relating to carpentry, painting, basic plumbing and general repairs
You must have the ability to perform basic plumbing repairs as part of general maintenance duties
Assisting with preventative maintenance and site inspections
Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers when required
Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
To be successful
You will bring:
Experience in commercial maintenance, handyman or building services
A minimum of 5+ years experience in commercial maintenance or related services
Trade background (Carpentry or similar) highly regarded
A formal trade qualification is essential for this position
Strong problem-solving and practical skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and tasks
Strong communication and customer service skills
