The Opportunity
Novaskill is currently partnered with a range of local businesses who are offering multiple Electrical Apprenticeships opportunities including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.
You'll be finishing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology whilst gaining exposure to Solar, Domestic, Commercial & Industrial environments.
Role & Learnings
Gaining an understanding and adhering to local and national electrical codes & regulations will be crucial, you'll learn how to ensure that electrical work meets safety and code requirements
Use of various testing equipment including multimeters to check voltage, current, and continuity which will contribute to ensuring electrical systems are working properly
You'll learn how to measure, cut, bend, and install conduit (metal or PVC pipes used to protect electrical wires) and assist in pulling and securing electrical wiring within the conduit
Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment is critical. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organised work area
You'll help install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and circuit breaker panels
