Metro North Health is establishing the Heart Lung Research Institute (HLRI) as its fifth world leading translational research institute—dedicated exclusively to advancing discovery and innovation across cardiac and respiratory diseases.
About the role
The HLRI will support clinicians, researchers, and health managers across Metro North Health (and beyond) to deliver high‑value heart and lung care by identifying cost‑effective methods to prevent, detect, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate patients with heart and lung conditions. As the Director of Research, you will play a critical leadership role in building, shaping, and embedding the HLRI as a world‑class translational research institute.
