About the Role

Rise & Shine Kindergarten Kogarah is seeking a passionate and dedicated Cert III Educator to join our team full-time. This position supports the delivery of high-quality early childhood education under the Rise & Shine curriculum and provides hands-on support to the Room Leader and centre team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up learning environments, preparing materials, resources, and equipment for daily educational, play-based, and recreational experiences aligned wit the Shine Advantage Curriculum.
• Support positive behaviour guidance, helping children develop social, emotional, and interpersonal skills in a respectful and nurturing way.
• Contribute to planning and facilitating engaging learning experiences, both structured and spontaneous, that promote children's development.
• Engage children meaningfully through reading, storytelling, songs, games, and interactive play.
• Actively supervise children during indoor, outdoor, and group activities, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and participation.
• Support smooth daily routines, including transitions, rest times, mealtimes, and group experiences.
• Promote and assist with children’s hygiene and self-help skills, following RSK health, safety, and wellbeing procedures.
• Partner with families, communicating positively and respectfully about children’s learning and daily experiences.
• Assist with documentation, observations, and extending children’s learning under the guidance of the Room Leader.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a regulated early childhood service
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
• Child Protection Training
• Full-time availability (38 hours)

Pay: $76,515.00 per year
