We’re now looking for Adelaide Hills locals who are compassionate and experienced Personal Care Workers to join our wonderful team at our Woodside location.

About the Role

At our Woodside location, you won’t just be another number — you’ll be part of a community and a supportive team that values your skills, your voice, and your commitment to compassionate care.

As a Personal Care Worker, you will play an essential role in supporting residents’ wellbeing through high clinical standards and meaningful interactions. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will:

  • Provide safe, effective, and timely care under the guidance of the Registered or Enrolled Nurse.

  • Provide high‑quality personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

  • Build warm and professional relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

  • Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids.

  • Support residents with meals, hydration, and daily routines.

  • Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour, or wellbeing to the clinical team.

  • Assist with safe manual handling practices in line with training and policy.

  • Maintain infection prevention standards, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

  • Promote a positive, person‑centred environment where residents feel respected, heard, and valued.

About You

An experienced Personal Care Worker, you will have a minimum of 12 months experience (exclusive of Student placement hours) working in aged care, community, or similar clinical settings. A commitment to promote a person‑centred environment where each resident’s preferences, dignity, and individuality are honoured is essential.

With strong communication and interpersonal skills, partnered with a compassionate and caring approach, will see you successful in this dynamic but rewarding role.

What you will bring

  • Cert III Individual Support

  • Up‑to‑date vaccinations

  • Current or a willingness to obtain required clearances.

  • Minimum of 12 months experience (exclusive of Student placement hours)
