Purpose:

Moverly Children's Centre is seeking a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join the childcare team in providing a high-quality long day care service. The Ealy Childhood Educator is responsible to deliver educational programs and work in a team environment to meet the Education and Children’s Services Regulations and the National Quality Standards.

About the role:

Work with your team to ensure the daily practice as well as centre policies and procedures meet the highest rating for each criteria set down under the National Assessment and Ratings process. Ensure, in conjunction with the Coordinator, that the Centre complies with the Education & Children’s Services Regulation as monitored by the Early Childhood Education & Care Directorate at all times.
Observe, plan, implement, document and monitor educational programs for children, aged 0-5 years, with a particular emphasis on individual interests and needs.
Take responsibility for individual and groups of children to ensure a child safe, caring and stimulating environment is provided at all times.

About you:

Experience and proven ability to observe, plan and implement reflective and emergent programs without supervision. Also, ability to document this information in a professional manner.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
A Working with Children Check identity number with clearance, as per the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 along with approved National Child Safety training.
