About the Role
Smart Start Preschool is seeking a passionate, confident, and highly skilled Diploma Qualified Educator to join our dedicated team in Willetton. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and high-quality learning environment for children, and we are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and centre policies.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Qualifications: Must hold a completed Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
- Experience: Demonstrated experience working within an early childhood setting with a deep understanding of the NQF.
- Flexibility: As this is a full-time role, you must be flexible with working hours and days to meet the operational needs of the service.
- Personal Attributes: We are looking for a confident, caring, and proactive professional who can take initiative and lead by example.
Requirements
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain).
