Whales Regional Workforce is seeking 50 Mango Harvest Workers to commence work during the upcoming mango season in Katherine, NT 0850. These positions may be suitable for applicants who are:
Mango Harvest Workers will assist with harvesting and handling mango crops during the mango season. Work will take place in orchard environments and may involve repetitive and physically demanding tasks. Duties may include:
These positions are casual seasonal roles for a period of up to 9 months. Successful applicants will generally be offered 30 hours per week, with additional hours potentially available depending on harvest requirements and weather conditions. The hourly pay rate is $30.15, with employment conditions in accordance with the Horticulture Award 2020.
Work is performed outdoors in tropical weather conditions, and applicants must be able to work in hot and humid environments, as well as undertake repetitive manual tasks including lifting, carrying, bending and standing for extended periods. These roles are Labourer / Entry Level positions. Experience in agricultural or harvest work is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided.
