About the Group
This group specialize in commercial new build and complex fit-out/refurbishment projects up to $50 mil. They have strong relationships in the education, aviation and government sector and been delivering projects in these sectors for over 15 years. They are looking for a Design Manager that can work on multiple projects during the pre-construction and construction delivery phase.

Responsibilities:

Act as the link between architects, engineers, consultants, and construction teams.
Ensure design intent aligns with project scope, budget, and timeline.
Facilitate design reviews, approvals, and value engineering.
Manage regulatory compliance, including Australian Standards, and local council requirements.
Coordinate and manage design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Support tendering and procurement by reviewing design elements.
Work with the construction team to resolve design issues on-site

Your background:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as construction management, architecture, design.
Will look at candidates straight out of an Architect/Drafting
Experience working on complex and challenging projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong experience using REVIT

You will receive:

$120k-$160k package
