About the Group 
This group specialize in commercial new build and complex fit-out/refurbishment projects up to $50 mil. They have strong relationships in the education, aviation and government sector and been delivering projects in these sectors for over 15 years. They are looking for a Design Manager that can work on multiple projects during the pre-construction and construction delivery phase.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the link between architects, engineers, consultants, and construction teams.
  • Ensure design intent aligns with project scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Facilitate design reviews, approvals, and value engineering.
  • Manage regulatory compliance, including Australian Standards, and local council requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support tendering and procurement by reviewing design elements.
  • Work with the construction team to resolve design issues on-site
Your background:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as construction management, architecture, design.
  • Will look at candidates straight out of an Architect/Drafting 
  • Experience working on complex and challenging projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong experience using REVIT 

You will receive:
