Interior Designer

Home by MM is an expanding residential architecture studio focused on thoughtfully designed renovations and new homes. We are currently seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join the team and lead in delivering projects from early concept through to construction.

This full-time position suits a confident and capable designer who enjoys collaborating with clients, architects and builders to create spaces that are both practical and well resolved.

About the Role

The position centres on leading the studio's interior design work and delivering considered residential outcomes. You will collaborate with the design team and clients, to ensure ideas are creative, refined and ready for construction.

Key responsibilities include:

· Developing interior design concepts including spatial planning and FF&E selections.

· Preparing technical drawings and documentation using Revit.

· Creating mood boards, visualisations and presentation material.

· Presenting design ideas clearly and confidently to clients.

· Assisting projects through all stages, from design development to installation.

· Coordinating with suppliers, trades and internal team members.

· Managing multiple projects and deadlines.

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

· A qualification in Interior Design or a related discipline.

· Minimum 5 years' professional experience in interior design.

· Strong background in residential projects (essential).

· Experience in Kitchen and Bathroom renovations highly valued.

· Proficiency in Revit (essential).

· Familiarity with Programa advantageous.

· Solid understanding of residential documentation and construction standards.

· Strong client communication and presentation skills.

· Excellent organisation and time management.

· Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
