Disability Support Worker

Extra Care is a nurse-led, values-driven disability support service providing high-quality, individualised consistent support to children and families across Sydney.

Our Services

• 1:1 weekday support – morning and afternoon shifts
• 1:1 weekend community support
• School holiday group programs

All supports are tailored to each participant’s goals and delivered in close collaboration with families and allied health teams.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking support workers who:

• Current student or recent Graduate in Nursing, Allied Health, Teaching, Special Education, or related fields.
• Previous experience in disability support is a bonus—but not essential if you’re eager to learn.
• A friendly, proactive, and reliable approach to working with children and families.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude, with a willingness to grow and develop your career.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.15 – $44.59 per hour

Licence/Certification:

• Working with Children Check (Preferred)
• NDIS Worker Screening (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
