About the Role As a Serviceperson, you will support site operations by ensuring mobile plant and heavy mining equipment are fuelled, serviced and maintained to maximise reliability and productivity.
Key responsibilities include:

• Refuelling and shift servicing of mobile plant and mining equipment
• Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance tasks
• Assisting tradespeople with washing, servicing, maintenance and minor repairs
• Supporting general maintenance and operational activities across site
• Identifying, recording and reporting equipment defects or damage
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Promoting and maintaining MacKellar’s strong safety culture

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Service Person in the mining industry
  or a Light Vehicle or Diesel Fitter trade qualification with experience on civil or agricultural equipment
• RIISAM212D – Service mine plant and equipment
• Current HR driver’s licence
• RIIVEH307 – Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle (VOC) – highly desirable
• RIIVEH306 – Operate a Mine Service Vehicle (VOC) – highly desirable
