Our Opportunity

Ready to lead in one of South Australia’s most charming locations? Zebra Early Learning Centre is seeking an energetic and passionate Centre Manager to lead our vibrant service in the heart of Hahndorf, nestled in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

This role is central to the success of the centre, inspiring a team of educators, building strong relationships with families, and maintaining the highest standards of care, education and child safety across our 79-place service. A positive and collaborative culture supports educators to grow, develop and thrive in their roles.

Support is also provided by an experienced Centre Manager from a nearby service, creating a strong local leadership network with opportunities to share insights and strengthen community engagement while contributing to the centre’s ongoing success.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, budgets, and parent communication.
• Inspire and support Educators and Teachers through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth.
• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children’s holistic development.
• Prioritise children’s safety and well-being, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive culture that values teamwork and diversity.

What you’ll bring:

• ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
• A current Working with Children Check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage priorities effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
